Pay per Click (PPC) is a form of
online marketing strategy that revolves around the purchase of ads links on search
engine results pages, also known as sponsored links. The payment method of PPC is
simple: You only have to pay when someone is clicked on your advert. When a visitor
clicks on your advert he is taken to one of your site pages, website or sales page
that is targeted to your advertisements product or service. Pay per click can be
used for a long period of time and in conjunction with other internet marketing
strategies, such as SEO. The combination of SEO and PPC is called SEM, search engine
marketing.
